Beautiful site, not too big. Stunning location, with some lovely walks. The area is flat so great for cycling. Very clean and well maintained site. staff very friendly and helpful. Would definitely use again.

Good sized pitches with a lot of shade. very friendly helpful staff. The best showers and toilets on any site I have been on and I’ve been camping for 42years! A small shop on site with bread every morning. There is a bar/restaurant but can’t comment on that as didn’t use it. Nice walk by the water to small town. good cycle path into Laredo. The site was full almost all the time we were there and it was their last week before closing. only problem for us was I think we were the only people without a dog. All campers had 1/2/3 dogs which would have been fine but they weren’t kept on leads and barked every time someone walked past especially if they had a dog then it sent a signal for most of the dogs to bark.

Stayed at this super site for three nights just before it closed for the season on 15 October. The facilities are very well maintained. Each pitch has its own sink, water and EHU. The site is in a great location, with easy access to two beaches, pathways and cycling routes.

we have stayed here a number of times, however, we will probably not stay again. we were plagued by baking dogs. The van next to us had four, and we were surrounded on each side. It was simply too much!

Which you can swim in

Good location as a base for some cycling for three days. Plots are fairly small, but we coped Ok in our 7m Motorhome. Super clean showers and toilets, and a sink for each plot! Hot water and a draining board for washing up at the main block and really hot water for hand clothes washing. Some plots even had a sea view. The beach is literally just outside the gate of the campsite.

Very nice campsite. Fairly big pitches with trees to give you shade. Great facilities all working beautifully. Did not use shop nor cafe. Acsi €19 well worth it!
Town not too great but pleasant enough but superb long sandy beach along campsite.

DONT rely on your satnav unless it\'s a camping specific one, or you will end up on half a mile of very bumpy and dusty dirt track!
The site is indeed right on a beach with direct access through a gate.
The pitches are well shaded with a canopy of (well trimmed) trees. The very moden shower block is kept immaculately clean at all times. The showers have proper mixer taps not push buttons, and the water is hot at all times. Each pitch is a decent size (8m caravan, plus 3m sun shade, plus car all fit) has its own water supply, drain, and sink (cold water only) so basically a serviced pitch for the ACSI price. Small shop at reception and a bar and restaurant with reasonable prices.
The site is a fair ways out of town (about 4.5km) so if in a MH or camper bikes would be useful, or there is a bus stop about ½ mile from the site.
It clearly gets very busy at weekends (can\'t say I am surprised due to its location) so if planning on being here at the weekend be sure to arrive on Wednesday.or book on line (They require a deposit at time of booking, but that ensures you have a pitch waiting for you!) Its early June now (so not yet even hear high season) and yesterday (Friday) we saw many being turned away because the site was full, you have been warned.
Further along the peninsula at the very end (it\'s walkable, but a fair distance) there is a large free car park, and a ferry across the mouth of the estuary to the Town of Santona (last ferry back 6pm) that has a lovely promenade all the way out to a Fort on the headland, and that\'s well worth the effort and the climb. The views from it are wonderful.
The old town of Laredo is worth a visit, but parking is a nightmare (bus?)
There is a huge 5km long sandy beach nearby, but there are also hundreds of apartment blocks so that beach must be very busy at the height of the season.

we stayed at this site and the staff couldn’t have been more pleasant and helpful. The site was clean and tidy, great toilets and showers, it has a small shop and a nice restaurant. We will stay again, the only down side was the distance to the supermarkets.

Great site in a lovely location. Helpful staff. Small supermarket and good sized, well marked pitches. Modern toilet block. Good motorhome service point. Lovely walks around the nature reserve and easy walk/cycle into town and along the coast to the port and the older part of Loredo.
